My Dad introduced me to libraries when I was about 10 and got me my first card, I don't suppose I was old enough and he always kept the card but at least I had one. Books play a HUGE part in our home and our family and always have, and I'm happy to say that I've passed my love of books onto at least 3 of the 5 children including the one I didn't hatch!<br />My Dad once told me I guess I was about 8 that "If you have a book you'll always have a friend" and that if I always ha a book I could always take off and be somewhere else and how right he is whether I am travelling down the Nile or feeding Pirahna in the Amazon I'm always right here and in reach but always off somewhere else as well..
